Origin

A street game with real history.

Futtle is a modern build of Jianzi, the foot-juggling game played across Asia for centuries in streets, parks, and schoolyards. The goal is simple: keep the object honest, improve the tactile feel, and make people want to play longer.

Hand-selected goose feathers, a dual-density vulcanized rubber base, and calibrated counterweighting give it a cleaner spin profile and a more predictable lift. That makes it friendlier for beginners and more satisfying for players chasing long touch sequences.

Learn

Learn the first clean sequence.

Keep it in the air with anything except your hands. These steps get a new player from random swings to controlled inside-foot touches.

The 4-step sequence

01

THE DROP

Hold the Futtle at chest height and let it fall straight down. Keep your eyes on the base, not the feathers.

02

INSIDE TOUCH

Lift your knee, turn the ankle out, and meet the base with the flat inside of your shoe.

03

CUSHION POP

Guide it back up instead of kicking through it. Control comes from a soft touch, not force.

04

RHYTHM SPIN

Reset your balance, let it descend, and repeat. Stay relaxed so you are not chasing every bounce.

Progress ladder

How many touches can you string together?

10touchesBEGINNER

You can keep a simple rhythm without losing the object immediately.

30touchesSTREET READY

Basic control is there and the touches start to look intentional.

50touchesTACTICAL STRIKER

You can keep height and pace under control for full short runs.

75touchesLOCAL LEGEND

The rhythm is smooth enough to start mixing in direction changes and stalls.

100touchesPOST IT

You have the consistency to film it, post it, and call it a proper run.

Touch challenges

Build control before you chase tricks

Inside Arch Pop

The standard juggling touch and the foundation of everything else.

5 PTS

Outside Edge Flick

A cleaner directional touch using the outside edge of the shoe.

15 PTS

Thigh Cushion Stall

Catch the drop on the thigh before sending it back into the sequence.

25 PTS

Leaning Chest Stall

Absorb the contact on the chest and keep the object dead still for a beat.

50 PTS

Forehead Pop

A soft rebound that tests timing more than raw speed.

40 PTS

Care

Built to play, better if maintained.

The feathers are organic and the base takes repeated impact. A little maintenance keeps the flight shape consistent and makes the product feel less disposable.

[01]

DRY STORAGE

Store the Futtle somewhere dry. Moisture weakens the feather stems and reduces lift over time.

[02]

THE STEAM TRICK

If the feathers bend out of shape, hold them over steam for a few seconds to help the original flight profile return.

[03]

WIND BOUNDS

It can handle a light breeze, but cleaner reps usually happen indoors or in calmer corners of a court or lane.

[04]

BASE CARE

Wipe the rubber base with a damp cloth after dusty sessions and avoid soaking the weighted internals.
